Morgoth

About Morgoth

Morgoth is a German heavy metal quintet featuring vocalist Marc Grewe, guitarists Carsten Otterbach and Harald Busse, bassist Sebastian Swart, and drummer Rudiger Hennecke. They debuted with a pair of EPs, The Eternal Fall and Resurrection Absurd, which were later collected on a two-fer in 1991, the same year their first full-length album, Cursed, appeared. After the follow-up, 1993's Odium, the band took a hiatus, with Grewe recording with Power of Expression and Comecon. In 1996, Morgoth joined with producer Dirk Draeger for Feel Sorry for the Fanatic. ~ Steve Huey
