#640 - Rorion Gracie’s Secret: Mastering Your Mind & Body Like a BJJ Grand Master
Rorion Gracie, a Grand Master in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and co-founder of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) comes back on the Tai Lopez Show!
Rorion tells the story of how his family changed Brazilian jiu-jitsu and made it famous.
When Rorion was just 16, he left Brazil for America. He worked different jobs and began teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu in his garage. Rorion shows us that Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is more than a sport – it's a way of life.
We talk about the "Gracie Diet," a special way of eating his family created (that helps with irritable bowel syndrome).
Rorion and I dive into the details of the Gracie Diet. This conversation is not only about martial arts; it's about good eating habits, a healthy lifestyle, and learning from a Jiu-Jitsu Grand Master.

Uncommon sense
This review will be about Tai Lopez's most recent podcast, where he talks about three steps that would improve your life. These steps are acquiring common sense and being able to zoom in and out on different aspects in life. The author also brings out real-life examples on why it's important and how people oftentimes lack that skill.
I agree with almost all of what the author is trying to convey. I think that being able to zoom in and out, that more widely speaking means knowing how and when to be creative is really important. Many people in nowadays's systems are just taking orders and following them robotically with no sense of creativity or human thought. While this can make you a living, it will never make you truly successful, because real success lies in the work of self-expression.
Overall, I really liked the podcast. Even though, it was quite a general talk and not as specific and detailed-advice as I had hoped. Still a good 10 minutes of motivative valuable life advice, that made me think how to move things forward, how to grow.
