Can't check in, error messages abound
So many airline apps work properly, so this should be a no-brainer...and indeed, no brains went into this App. Check-in never works, with frustrating messages such as, "The MilleMiglia number does not match the passenger name" (I assure you it does) or "No flight found with the information provided". The SAME information entered on the website does work...sometimes anyway. BTW, the web check-in sent me the electronic boarding card through SMS and the ground staff frowned at me saying, "Don't you have a printed copy?" Doesn't that say it all about the technological savvy of Alitalia? VERGOGNATEVI!
The reservation process went well until payment
I found a ticket quite easily, filled in all the information for 4 passengers only to discover that the payment can be done by American Express card only!!! Really???!!! There is no way to email the link to the search and not have to start all over again on a computer.
This app is a "masterpiece" showcasing the Airline itself with poor and rude service, it is useless.
It has the following "features":
