Slay is a simple to learn game of strategy and cunning set in medieval times. The island is divided up between the six players, and you must try to capture your enemies' land and link up your own territories to create larger and stronger ones. You begin capturing land by attacking with your peasants. Once your territories become richer you can combine peasants to make stronger and stronger people (Spearmen, Knights and then Barons) who can kill weaker enemy troops, or knock down their castles. Just be careful that you don't create too many expensive men or the territory will go bankrupt!

"At first glance, Slay looks elementary, but hidden beneath are cunning strategy elements that must be finely balanced for success" - PC Magazine
"Deceptively delightful. The graphics are simple, but the strategy is complex." - Download.com

- updates for iOS6 and iPhone 5
Simple and addicting
This game is absurdly addicting. Though its rules are fairly simple and its graphics borderline utilitarian, it retains the One-More-Turn! aspect that is the hallmark of great turn-based strategy games, like the Civilization series. The only thing it's lacking is multiplayer support (and Game Center integration/acheivements would always be nice) - but if you're into single player gaming, this game is an amazing value.
EDIT: and because I don't know where else I can brag about this, I will say here that I have now beaten every level in 35 turns or less. So when you think one is impossible... KEEP TRYING! You can do it! Gl :)
Thanks Sean!! This was one of my favorite games on WinCE, glad to see it on my iPhone! Port it to Windows 8 and ill get on my tablet as well!
In response to the negative reviews... I dont get it. The new version is hard to see?? Get a pair of glasses. This version is every bit as great as the last, and Im willing to welcome some slightly newer graphics. Its not like the new UI is such a far departure from the old one. If you aren't sure, try the free version, but personally, i didn't bother with it. I bought the full version right away, I've played about 5 maps now, and its exactly as great as i remember on my Windows Phone 6.5.
I keep coming back
I first got this game a couple years ago. I have always played for a while then. quit but keep coming back for more when another game gets old. I was pleased to see that they have updated the graphics and choice of themes and colors. I recommend this game for anyone who likes simple games with deep strategy. The first few sets are very easy but get very, VERY difficult as you get farther into it. This game comes with we'll over 300 lvls and will keep you busy until you upgrade your phone, then you start all over :p. thanks guys
