About Joan Rovira

Hailing from Camarles (Catalonia), Joan Rovira is a folk, pop, and rhumba singer/songwriter. She learned how to play guitar at the age of seven and decided to become a professional musician. After studying saxophone at the ESMUC Conservatory, Rovira went out to perform as a street musician in Spain, France, Italy, and Great Britain. Little by little, he graduated to private parties, pubs, festivals, and theaters. In 2015, Rovira released his first album, Peix Sense Espina, and in 2016, he was named best emerging artist by the prestigious Enderrock magazine.
