Abstract: The Mission Chinoise Catholique de Quebec was an evangelical work which goal was to convert to the catholic faith the Chinese of Quebec City. The first part of this study will concentrate on the social and cultural aspects of the Mission. We will discuss the diverse activities organized for the Chinese population of the city and we will try to sec how they responded to them. The second part of this study will deal with the religious aspect of the Mission. We will observe the various attemps which were made to convert the chinese population of the city. Finally, we will see what where the real results of this evangelical work over the years. Resume: La Mission Chinoise de Quebec fut une oeuvre d'evangelisation visant a convertir a la foi catholique les immigrants chinois presents dans la ville de Quebec. La premiere partie de notre etude se concentre sur les aspects sociaux et culturels de la Mission. Nous y decrivons les diverses activites qui furent proposees a cette population et, par la suite, nous examinons les reactions de celle-ci par rapport a cette offre. La seconde partie porte sur le role proprement religieux de la Mission. Nous pouvons y observer plusieurs tentatives d'apostolat visant la population chinoise de Quebec. Finalement, nous dressons un portrait nuance des resultats obtenus au fil du temps par cette oeuvre d'evangelisation.
