Guest Request: Beth Garrabant

Hi James,
I don’t listen to all of your podcasts, but the ones I do, have changed my life. I can think about the one you did with Lori Gottlieb in which her book is mentioned, which lead me to reading that book, and then thinking “I want this for my life”. And I found a wonderful therapist that has allowed me to reshape my life. So thank you.
And since you ask for ideas for guests in exchange of reviews, here’s my request: I love Taylor Swift’s music; something about her voice and the way she sings makes something within me reverberate when I listen to her. Now, I don’t think you can get Taylor to your podcast, but you could do the next thing for me, which is to get Beth Garrabant, a film photographer who shot Taylor’s Folklore album cover last summer. I fell in love with film photography a year ago, and I’d love to hear from Beth - why she shoots film, and what her experience was like to work with Taylor.

Thanks for the podcast and for your positive life teachings.

Informative and entertaining

Hi James! Just a recommendation. Could you please consider changing the background music? I modestly think it doesn’t suit the programme. It is rather intrusive and unpleasant. I understand that it is your creation but I think you are more than capable of producing something more adequate. Otherwise, brilliant podcast. Cheers!

Best Podcast ever

I started listening to James’ Podcast a few years ago. At the beginning I mostly chose the business ones, with top entrepreneurs. But then I also enjoyed the ones about lifehacks, meditation, improvement skills, etc.

James has gone through a million ups and downs and he is not afraid to openly share them with his audience. You can learn a lot by his own experience.

On top of that, he is the best interviewer: before meeting his guests he deep dives into their history, reads all about them, etc so the conversation is super profound. And his interviewing skills are awesome: it’s really a smart dialogue, not just a set of questions like if it was a test.

My only problem is that there are too many Podcasts and it’s difficult to listen to all of them!

Keep the good work!
