Former circus performer Miliki had already enjoyed a long performing career that dated back to the end of the 1930s when he was able to reinvent himself as a children’s performer beginning in 1999. He released several albums for kids, many of which, like this one, Las Tablas de Multiplicar, appeared originally in 2006 and had an educational slant.

The popular artist Miliki was born Emilio Aragón Bermúdez on November 4, 1929, in Sevilla, Spain. At a young age he and his brothers Alfonso and Gabriel joined together to form the musical group Los Payasos de la Tele, going by the names Gaby, Fofo, and Miliki. They began their performance careers in 1931 in the Circo Price, a popular circus of the time.
