Album Review

After years of playing roles in Spanish movies, Lolita returns to her primary passion with Lola Lolita Lola, covering Mexican Armando Manzanero's classics "Mia" and "Somos Novios," showing her composition skills on "Mentiras Son Verdades," and featuring the outstanding contemporary flamenco "Sarandonga." Lola Lolita Lola took eight months of recording sessions in Barcelona and Valencia, under the supervision of producers Kitflus and Presuntos Implicados' Nacho Mañó, having contributions from talented local musicians, allowing her to get a well-balanced and captivating album.
