Album Review

This set includes 15 tracks collected from a live k.d. lang performance in 1993 at Soundstage Studios in Chicago, which was broadcast simultaneously on PBS. The other five tracks here are from various live TV broadcasts lang did between 1988 and 1992, including appearances on Saturday Night Live, the Tonight Show, and David Letterman. There are fine versions here of "Constant Craving" and "Trail of Broken Hearts," among others, and a moving solo rendition of Roy Orbison's "Crying," a song she had once recorded as a duet with Orbison, all of which makes this a nice collection of rarities sure to please her many fans.
