Album Review

While they might not have quite reached the heights of nu-metal luminaries like Korn or System of a Down, Coal Chamber's combination of metal, gothic, and industrial sensibilities definitely earned them a place in the nu-metal hall of fame. On The Best of Coal Chamber, cuts from all three of the band's studio albums, as well as their B-sides compilation, are gathered up in one tidy package, giving metal historians a nice overview of one of the more promising acts to come out of one of heavy metal's most awkward phases.
