About La Banda Loca

The merengue group La Banda Loca was formed in New York City in 1990 by singers Elvis Classe, Osvaldo Peralta and Luis Rafael Inoa. Debuting with in 1992 Locuras, the trio returned later that same year with Mas Locuras, followed in 1993 by La La La La Loca. After issuing Incontrolable in 1994, a year later La Banda Loca won the prestigious Association Cronistas de Espectaculos award as New York's most popular merengue group; Locos de Remate appeared soon after, followed in 1996 by Mas Locos Que Nunca. ~ Jason Ankeny
