Bass music producer Soundmaster T made a significant contribution to the short-lived booty music craze with "2 Much Booty (In da Pants)," a hugely successful dance single that appeared in the summer of 1994. Catching on in Southern clubs before making a transition to urban radio, the track's bouncing beat and simple, dirty lyrics made it his biggest hit by far. Future collaborations with Jah-Rista and the minor club success "Hit It from da Back" would follow, along with "Do It Like My Birthday," featuring rapper Twista. ~ Bradley Torreano
