Influenced by such artists as Brian Eno and My Bloody Valentine as much as sci-fi films, dream pop duo the Year Zero is vocalist Lili De La Mora and former Sense Field member Rodney Sellars. Sellars had begun the band as a noisy rock project, but after finding De La Mora he started recording the duo's delicate ambient pop on a four-track.
