About Whores.

Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, noise-rockers Whores are out to abuse eardrums and destroy speakers with their blend of punishing fuzz and raw aggression. The trio, made up of singer/guitarist Christian Lembach, bassist Jack Schultz, and drummer Travis Owen, combine the agitated angst of the Jesus Lizard with the heaviness of the Melvins, setting a wave of fuzz-drenched guitar and bass loose on unsuspecting listeners as they crash and bash their way to musical oblivion. In 2011, the trio made their debut with the EP Ruiner, which was released through Brutal Panda records. A second EP called Clean followed in 2013, this one produced by Ryan Boesch (known for his work with Foo Fighters, Melvins, and Helmet). By 2016, Lembach was the only remaining member of the original trio and was joined by incoming bassist Casey Maxwell and drummer Donnie Adkinson. This was the lineup featured on Gold, Whores' first full-length release and first for the eOne Music label. ~ Gregory Heaney
