iTunes Review

A socially conscious and musically diverse songwriter, Melody Gardot's contemporary take on jazz and blues has earned her plaudits aplenty. Currency Of Man finds her in particularly arresting form, embracing the harder, funkier side of her sound to intoxicating effect. While much of the album finds Gardot tackling social issues with her intelligence and insight, she takes time to pour scorn on unfaithful lovers during the infectious groove of "Same to You", and pays tribute to a jazz legend with the haunting instrumental "March For Mingus". This release marks a significant leap forward for one of America’s most exciting young talents.

Vue à Vienne pour la semaine du jazz .... Juste fabuleuse ☺️ elle brille autant par son talent que par sa bonne humeur! Et l'album est juste GÉNIAL!!
