Avis sur l’album

A crooner really closer to Perry Como in delivery and style than to Hank Williams, Jim Reeves' smooth vocals and archetypal string-enriched Nashville sound production made him a poster boy for the pop aspirations of country music in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and he did it all so well that he was still charting hits six years after his 1964 death in a plane crash.
