Having worked behind the scenes with everyone from Kylie Minogue to (predominantly) David Guetta, this French DJ/producer flexes broadly on his style-hopping double album. Part 1 hits the floor hard with the low-slung electro-funk of “DJ Play That Beat", while “Le voyage” drops dirty synth bombs over pumping four-on-the-floor. Part 2 showcases Garraud’s pop-oriented collaborations, including the “Fame”-inspired “Don’t Cry (Remember My Name)” with soulful EDM vocal fixture Chris Willis, and the serrated tropical club abstraction “Roxanne on Acid” featuring early rap heroine Roxanne Shanté. It's fist-pumping fire all around.
