AroundMe allows you to quickly find out information about your surroundings.
How many times have you found yourself in need of finding the closest Petrol Station?
AroundMe quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Petrol Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.
AroundMe shows you a complete list of all the businesses in the category you have tapped on along with the distance from where you are.
For every listing you can choose to see its location on a Map, view the route from where you are, add the information to your contact list or even email the information to a friend.
The Nearby listing allows you to find information using Wikipedia about what is around you.

NB: When AroundMe Weather push feature is active the app make a continue use of GPS running in the background that can dramatically decrease battery life.

La meilleure
Parfait ! Je préfère ses recherches à celles de plan :-) Évidemment tout n’est pas toujours à jour et parfois on tombe sur une boutique, un distributeur ou autre qui n’est plus ouvert mais cependant très précise et rapide !
Très pratique à l'étranger
Voilà une application bien utile quand on voyage hors de France.
J'ai ainsi pu trouver à Amsterdam un restaurant dans un quartier où il n'y avait pas un seul commerce, un supermarché à New York et de nombreuses boutiques dans des villes que je ne connaissais pas en Espagne. Parfois le commerce en question est fermé, mais il suffit de prendre le suivant sur la liste.
