Defendant Gary Hatch appeals from the district court's grant of summary judgment in favor of plaintiff Crossland Savings ("Crossland"). Hatch claims that the district court erred when it denied his motion for an extension of time to conduct discovery pursuant to rule 56(f) of the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure. *fn1 We affirm.
