(Please email me at thereandbackcast@gmail.com, it would really be appreciated) -Harry Potter news -Lord of the Rings News Harry Potter News: -WB has released photos of the actors on the set of the new Harry Potter movie. The pictures include those of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Luna, the Dursleys, and Professor Umbridge, played by Imelda Staunton. Another picture released shows the members of "Dumbledore's Army" (the DA), all with their wands at hand. -JK Rowling has updated her site with new features and lots of new updates, including an update on Banned Books Week. -Tom Felton turned 19 on September 22nd -Hermione Granger's birthday was on the 19th -Jo is not at the 750 page mark of the new HP book, contrary to rumors. LotR News: -Sean Astin will be attending the MegaCon conference in February in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. -September 22nd marked the birthday of both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. Happy Birthday!!! -"The Hobbit" marked its 69th anniversary on September 21st, coming a long way from its original printing of only 1500 copies. -An unfinished novel, "The Children of Hurin," written by JRR Tolkein will be edited and published by his son next spring. -Peter Jackson has been interviewed about an upcoming "Hobbit" film. He says he has received no word on the film or its script, but would like to be a part of the production if the studio comes to him.
