iTunes Review

A staple of '90s chill-out rooms, Global Communication's 76:14 is a trip to the deepest reaches of inner space, where trance-inducing arpeggios punctuate misty synthesisers and endless reverb. On "14:31", a ticking clock sets the meditative pace; "7:39" anticipates Boards of Canada's underwater hip-hop, while "8:07" borrows the melody from Tangerine Dream's "Love on a Real Train". This is ambient music at its most atmospheric—and it can enhance virtually any atmosphere, from sleepless nights to morning walks.

Customer Reviews

Otherworldly

One of the best ambient albums ever.

Amazing ambient album

Truly one of the greatest ambient albums ever made, Eno must be jealous of the quality on here. Track 10 is simply incredible and worth downloading the album for alone. I bought this on Cd in 1994 and still listen to it regularly, just wish they'd done more. Get the headphones on, put yourself a couple of hours aside and enjoy!
