I am only but an age of 13 and although Sam Cooke was not from my time but a legend come and gone I have seen his insight in music and he is not just a singer but also a teacher his music shows us many wAys in witch to live our lives and to fight against racism and discrimination my father was the one to introduce me to thing incredibly gifted music conductor and ever since I have thanked him uncountable times Sam Cooke's music is not just soul but it touches the soul

As a White middle class person living in suburbia I was helping my teenage daughter with her history homework on black slavery having listened to Sam Cooke as a teenager myself i bought this EP for her to listen to there is no better voice than Sam Cooke to pass on the message of equality for all

this is bland MoR Sam Cooke that he played for mostly a white audience. Itunes dont list it but check out Sam Cooke live at Harlem Square. It's a completely different performer and a glimpse into why he's regarded as one of he greats.
