An exhaustive chronicle of indie’s all-conquering outcasts, this greatest hits compilation makes an extended case for Brian Molko’s punky Britpoppers. And while 36 songs may seem a lot, each slice of tuneful weirdness earns its place. “Nancy Boy” still carries the scratchy, snotty spirit of their peak period, “Without You” (featuring card-carrying Placebo devotee David Bowie) is a gloriously dark alt-duet and new single “Jesus’ Son” proves that—20 years in—they’ve still got it.

a great compilation for those people who might want to try and experience music that they may have not known from the late 90's until now.


Faultless collection

Every Placebo fan will have a few other songs they would have wished to see make this list but it's actually quite fine as it is with a few alternative versions of otherwise well known songs and a few guest stars. If you love Placebo, you're bound to love this.

Due to their penchant for androgynous attire/makeup and raw, punky guitar riffs, Placebo have been described by some as a glam version of Nirvana. The multinational band was formed by singer/guitarist Brian Molko (part Scottish and American descent, but raised in England) and Swedish bassist Stefan Olsdal.
