Customer Reviews

Excellent, simply excellent....

125 songs, 9 and a quarter hours of music. It would be silly to pretend that any box as comprehensive as this could maintain consistency throughout, but there are just so many highlights, and only a few weak items that it's really not worth splitting hairs over... Eurythmics released 8 studio albums, as well as a soundtrack, a remix album and an after the fact live album. This set contains the 8 studio albums fleshed out with various 'bonus' tracks. It is the latter that brings in what 'weak' tracks there are.... Here we have the bulk of the output of one of the most consistent groups/duos to emerge in the 80s... At the time of writing, the set is available for just a tenner, which is an amazing bargain to say the least, but it's likely to rise in price soon, so if you see it still at this price, snap it up NOW.

Bargain

What a bargain - £9.99 for the Eurythmics whole catalogue (nearly). They were stunning in their hey day and sound just as great today. Treat yourself - you know you want to! And you won't regret it. Enjoy.

Fantastic boxset at an amazingly low price

What an amazing amount of Eurythmics. And at just £9.99 for all 125 tracks, you can't go wrong. Two notable absences are the original artwork for each album, and the soundtrack album 1984 (For The Love Of Big Brother). But hey, I'm not complaining. Thank you iTunes.

Formed: 1980 in London, England

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '80s, '90s, '00s

Eurythmics were one of the most successful duos to emerge in the early '80s. Where most of their British synth pop contemporaries disappeared from the charts as soon as new wave faded away in 1984, Eurythmics continued to have hits until the end of the decade, making vocalist Annie Lennox a star in her own right, as well as establishing instrumentalist Dave Stewart as a successful, savvy producer and songwriter. Originally, the duo channelled the eerily detached sound of electronic synthesizer music...
