the finest collection of pop perfection

It's sometimes hard to believe that in the last 10 years Christina Aguilera has only release 3 studio albums, yet from those albums have come some of the catchiest and most original pop songs of the last decade. Here we find the best of those songs, from the true pop hits of 'Christina Aguilera' through the diverse classics of 'Stripped' right up to the big-band sounds of 'Back to Basics', we are even treated to a selection of Christina’s finest collaborations including the truly immense version of ‘Lady Marmalade’. The new tracks allow a glimpse of Christina’s fresh sound and don’t feel out of place and ‘Genie 2.0’ adds a sizzling vibe to an already sexy standard. The inclusion of ‘Can’t Hold Us Down’ and perhaps some of Christina’s Spanish hits wouldn’t have gone a miss but the album doesn’t suffer in their absence. This album is a must buy for anyone who considers themselves a pop fan. AMAZING!!

Just Amazing

I forgot how much I love Xtina, I kind of forgot about her, but after buying this I have been reminded how beautiful her voice is, and how powerful her music is, especially with heart wrenching ballads like I Turn to You, Beautiful, The Voice Within and Hurt. I completely forgot about the duet with Ricky Martin 'Nobody Wants to Be Lonely' which sounds better now than when I last heard it 7 years ago. I feel this greatest hits was compiled especially for me since I really don't like "Can't Hold Us Down', ' Tilt Your Head Back' 'Car Wash' etc, I love all the songs included, and I am loving Xtina's new sound, Keeps Gettin' Better has so much energy along with Dynamite. Genie 2.0 is a real treat, it's nice to see she reflects on her previous work and isn't afraid to experiment and take chances, You Are What You Are is definitely a grower. This is a perfect greatest hits package which features more than your average new tracks for a greatest hits package, it's nice to have all her classics on one album. The only complaint I have is that there is no digital booklet, and there is no digital deluxe edition featuring the music videos, I had to buy the physical release because of this, which, is always better to have.

somethings missing!

ok, I love Xtina, but this is another greatest hits cop out for the festive season cash in! Can't hold us down is missing and so it Tell Me with P Diddy and Tilt Ya Head with Nelly! instead we get a naff version of beautiful and a slow dull version of genie? whats the point? roll on the new studio album christina cus i do love u!

A leader in the parade of Mickey Mouse Club veterans who stormed pop at the turn of the millennium, Christina Aguilera was the sexy, brassy diva of the bunch -- the Rolling Stones to Britney Spears' Beatles, as it were. Initially, it was difficult to see Christina outside of the prism of Britney, whose 1999 success launched the new millennium's teen pop boom, but Christina's big hits of 1999 -- "Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants," "Come on Over" -- more than held their own with "...Baby One...
