Concept album that works!

I can't understand why the track names aren't right, absolutely rubbish itunes. I've done you a favour and outlined them below. Anyway as Thrice fans are probably already aware the Fire volume is much in the same 'traditional' vein as 'Artist in the Ambulance' with strained rasping vocals and heavy guitars, that's not to say it's isn't bereft of some melody and innovation, for example 'The Messenger' and 'Burn the fleet'. As per usual they deliver some of the best emotive lyrics in rock, if not music as a whole. Water is a new direction for them, it's is underpinned by a prog/electronic feel and stadium choruses. Stagnant Thrice fans will probably strongly object to this vol, they would percieve it as a move to atone to the popular scene. I feel that in Water they have produced some of their finest work 'Digital Sea' and 'Open Water' are epic openers and 'Night Diving' and 'The Whaler' serve as a fitting prelude for 'Earth' and 'Air' in Spring 2008. It would be a travesty if Thrice don't achieve wider recognition for this art. Fire "Firebreather" - 4:24 "The Messenger" - 2:09 "Backdraft" - 4:08 "The Arsonist" - 4:13 "Burn the Fleet" - 3:47 "The Flame Deluge" - 3:28 Water "Digital Sea" - 3:44 "Open Water" - 3:47 "Lost Continent" - 4:30 "Night Diving" - 6:02 "The Whaler" - 4:09 "Kings Upon the Main" - 4:56

Woo! First Review!

K. I got this CD on the 15/10/07, the day it came out, and i've listened to it cover to cover like, so many times since then. Water is way the best part of the two part thing, n open water (track 2) n night diving (instrumental track 4) r way the best. Fire rocks 2, n the best parts of that r firebreather (track 1) n backdraft (track 3). Download or buy, either way, GET THIS ALBUM!!! Can't wait for Wind n Earth! if u love thrice, ily x x rock on people \m/

please put the track titles on guys

brilliant album.

Formed: 1998 in Irvine, CA

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Post-hardcore quartet Thrice formed in 1998 in Irvine, California. Guitarist/vocalist Dustin Kensrue, guitarist Teppei Teranishi, bassist Eddie Breckenridge, and drummer Riley Breckenridge all knew each other from high school and the neighborhood skate park, and the usual round of practices, music competitions, and local gigs helped hone their new band's sound. By late 1999, Thrice had amassed enough material to cut a proper record. Working with Death by Stereo's Paul Miner, the quartet recorded...
