Dim the lights for this London duo’s evocative future-soul. This is after-hours music—or, to quote the band, “serious baby making sounds”—and it shimmers with quality. Andy and James (surnames mysteriously undisclosed) team precision songwriting with dancefloor impulses with the results often deeply seductive (Izzy Bizu collaboration “Someone That Loves You”), soulfully tender (“It Ain’t Wrong Loving You”) and joyously melodic (“Good Together”).
