Customer Reviews

Bit of a silly one this....

Reviews here seem to be wildly fluctuating between really really good and astronomically bad as well as a ridiculous emphasis on Donna Summer's face (come on, really, i doubt she's actually gonna sue for 'copyright infringment' let alone take offense at a bit of fun) but that only really seems to reflect the album's undulating and shifting quality. The album's title track is dire and monotonous so God-knows-why they put a reprise in there and got two remixes for it (presumably to bulk out the sparse amount of original material). The album peaks in my opinion with 'Girlsrock', wanes at 'Wow' with the Modeselektor's edit a fairly unremarkable rehash of his own sound, before decending back into the trough from wence it came with the remixes. Still... you could do worse...

What a myth shatterer of an album. And I hope the artwork marks the start of a trend.

Not only does this release contain three new main releases, but also a longly awaited remix from Modeselektor, and remixes from Yuksek and tomboy. Garbage it is not.
