The Next Best Thing to Alice In Chains

I got this album in 2002 after Alice In Chains frontman Layne Staley past a way, and it was a great loss to Seattle and the music world. Jerry Cantrell who long time friend of Lyne and guitarist in Alice In Chains dedicated this album to Layne Staley. I realy like this album as it shows that Jerry Cantrell can write some of the best tracks out there.

Jerry Cantrell first came to prominence as a member of Alice in Chains, one of the prototypical Seattle grunge bands. Racking up hit albums like 1992's Dirt and 1995's self-titled release, the band rose to the top of the alterna-metal heap.
