Headphone music proper

Been following UNKLE for many a year. I'm not a crazy fan but do enjoy delving into a lil UNKLE every now & again. This albums ace. Really is. Loadsa vocals. Exactly what I was after to get me thru the dark winter months. Saying that I think it'll still be getting hammered at many a festival this year.
Great production. Can't be pigeon holed. Yeah good stuff. Cheers UNKLE.

Incredible album

I loved the first two UNKLE albums. However, I didn't pay much attention to anything after then....until this. It's a great, varied album. Sounds both new and familiar. It's great to run to.

Experimental hip-hop outfit UNKLE were one of the original artists releasing material through noted U.K. label Mo' Wax, which helped launch the instrumental, mid-'90s downtempo breakbeat revival eventually termed trip-hop. Though hardly the label's highest-profile group (at least until the long-delayed release of their debut LP in 1998), UNKLE's members included label head James Lavelle, who formed Mo' Wax while still in his teens as an antidote to the increasingly stale acid jazz/Northern soul scene....
