Yoko OhYes - further brilliance from Ono!

If people actually listened to Ono's great albums, ranging from the masterpiece of Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, via Approximately Infinite Universe, through to Rising, they would appreciate that there is more to her than primal screaming and feedback. Yes there is plenty of that, especially early on, but listen between the lines and you find songs of aching beauty. Having seen an outrageously good concert with her recently, it is a pleasure to say that this new music, sounds as good as ever. Long may you keep going Yoko.

Matter of Taste

One thing about Yoko Ono is that she never fails to create a reaction. That is the whole point of music and art. Instead of kow-towing to the mass media, being part of some record label fodder or churning out crowd pleasing ballads, Ono has continually pushed the boundaries of taste and music. Some people dislike what she does, others like it. Regardless, the point is that she creates extreme reaction to her work. Most artists don't. Whether she is of a certain age or not is completely irrelevant. I love her, I think she can do no wrong. I also think she's completely unique. But, hey that's my opinion.

yoko oh no

well the most one can say is that the music is as good as her art. which is also garbage as history will note.
