oh my!

the first album was amazing and took them years to make… i thought they might disappear. but they haven’t and the music world is a better place for it. this is aching, wrenching heartfelt stuff and they deserve success for their songwriting alone ...

First epic album of 2014

They been streaming this amazing record on soundcloud and it's so good . Loved their debut , now I am going to make a bold statement these are very close to a modern , fashionable U2 in the best way possible , soaring guitar hooks , gentle rhythmic pianos building up into a pounding chorus over laden by a voice so full of emotion it truly is hard not to be moved , yes there I said it u 2 and fashionable same sentence , anyway miss then at your peril , the first true great record of 2014 :)

Emotionally charged, stadium-ready indie rock outfit Augustines, later changed to We Are Augustines, was formed in Brooklyn in 2009 by Billy McCarthy, Eric Sanderson, and Rob Allen after the dissolution of the similarly themed Pela. Pela's breakup had prompted McCarthy and Sanderson to pursue the batch of songs that were intended to appear on the ousted group's sophomore outing, and put them toward a new project.
