At last a new record I actually like! Mark Stewart manages to keep all that is good about himself, without sounding dated or bored. If only Sylvester were alive he could cover Baby Bourgeois and I'd be in heaven. Pure joy from beginning to end, gawd bless 'im :0)

Stewart was born and raised in Bristol, England and attended Bristol Grammar School; one of his school friends was Nick Sheppard, who later went on to join the Cortinas and the Cut the Crap-era Clash.
