OK - so maybe not appealing to many men, if at all, any men. But Jo Brand has won my heart with this fantastically funny album of hers. Believe me when I say that trying to buy it one-by-one is not a good idea. Sure, you can start with the intro (which, evidently, is brilliant and a sure-fire way to push you into the rest of the album) but then upon finishing that particular section you will find yourself buying the next three. And then the next three. And then the rest of the album. Jo Brand is a witty character, unafraid of speaking out against issues that are normally trodden carefully around. Creative and imaginative are just two of the qualities that she displays with pride and flair throughout every topic. By pointing fingers at leaders and politicians, Jo Brand creates a brilliant album, no faults. I can personally say that I would recommend this album to anyone - man or woman - with the highest reccommendations.
As punk as they come
And she used to go and watch the Damned too, so good luck to her.
The loudmouth 'geezers' who have a go at her should go and look in the mirror to check that they are actually God's gift.... I suspect they're not.
This album is full of intelligently observed humour - Jo Brand is getting close to becoming a National Treasure.
