Great lyrics

The death of Fred Titmus (yesterday) reminded me of this great album - a favourite that had fallen off my playlist due to only having a cassette edition (really) - time for a shiny new download.

Unless you lived in the UK during the 70s/80s most of the topical references/humour will pass you by. But, if you did, then be transported back 30 years with nods to snooker, minor actors & actresses, kid's TV, pioneering heart surgery, cricketers, and toys.

Note that on the download several tracks are mislabeled. The sequence is correct.

The acerbic post-punk outfit Half Man Half Biscuit was formed in Birkenhead, England in 1984 by singer/guitarist Nigel Blackwell, his guitarist brother Si, bassist Neil Crossley, and drummer Paul Wright.
