Ball At His Best?

A truly sublime, beautiful and unique take on the music of an American great, Burt Bacarach, and one which unsurprisingly marks a new turn for one of Britain's greatest musical theatre stars and actors, proving there is quite literally nothing he can't do. Following hard on the heels of his debut with the English National Opera and preceeding his joining the cast of the London transfer of 'Hairspray', this 'late night' feel album shows just what a busy, but varied year Ball has had. With tracks to please even the most dedicated Bacharach fan, this album cannot disappoint! From the classic 'Alfie' to the Academy Award winning 'Arthur's Theme', plus a unique take on a song he's sung before, 'This Guy's In Love With You', Michael Ball's latest (greatest?) album will blow your socks off and relax you to the point of melting simultaneously. Beautifully sung, beautifully arranged and beautifully thought out; a must for fans of Ball, Bacharach or any new comers to either!
