Peace at last. Daniel Barenboim heads an orchestra made up of Israeli, Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian, Jordanian and Spanish musicians. He believes that the happiness of Israel and her Arab neighbours are inextricably linked - a solution has to be found without violence that suits them both. Should say straight off that I'm neither political nor particularly musical, but as far as I can tell this is absolute bliss on both counts. I've been listening to it all afternoon. Buy it and meditate on peace! What more do I need to say?
