A year after Dave Seaman mixed the tenth volume in the long-running series, the progressive house DJ was at the helm of yet another, Renaissance: The Masters Series, Pt. 14 (2009). Since the early '90s, Seaman has released mix albums at a dizzying pace, including over a half-dozen on the Renaissance label, most notably the inaugural entry in The Masters Series. Like his previous entries in the series, Renaissance: The Masters Series, Pt. 14 is a double-disc mix album whose second disc is the more forceful of the two.

British producer, remixer, and DJ Dave Seaman is a veteran of the progressive house scene, with countless remixes, original productions, and DJ mixes to his credit. A party DJ since the '80s, Seaman became the editor of Mixmag, transforming it from a newsletter for DJs to a popular magazine covering the burgeoning acid house and rave scenes.
