Raw but awesome early Rush album

The musicianship of these 3 guys is already so evident in this early Rush performance. Recording wise It's a little uneven at times but it's still a stunning show case of the considerable talents of Geddy, Neil and Alex.
As a Rush fan of 30 years standing, I certainly appreciate the release of gems like this. Well done guys!

awesome

The best power trio ever shine in this 1974 set. They play will unbridled joy and it's representative of their early music - played with brio and fire, the blistering solos, drum fills and base explosion are not as complex and precise of later playing but certainly excite the ears and it's recognisably Rush.
I've been a fan since 1976 (when I became old enough to recognise the value of hard rock) and a live document of early Rush has been limited to bootlegs.
This is clear, the playlist is awesome and the playing is Rush - what more could you want?
