Customer Reviews

'Better' is the 2nd single released by Boyzone following their reunion in 2007 and is a beautiful ballad originally written and performed by Tom Baxter. The song is comprised of simple and yet meaninful lyrics which have been interpreted beautifully in the 'Better' video. Stephen Gately and Ronan Keating share the lead vocals which are supported by Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch. I truly believe that 'Better' is one of Boyzone's best vocal performances and have been very impressed by the strength and emotion of their live version. I really hope it does well in the charts for them because I think it's an incredible version of an incredible song.

Just downloaded this before general release tomorrow. I'm surprised that I'm the first to write a review actually. Thought there would be a few already here. I have to say, I do like the Tom Baxter original of this song...but I don't know if it's because there is more than one vocal on this version or what, but I definitely prefer it. Think it's one of the best covers that they've done. So....get downloading and help it get to Christmas Number One.....(well we can hope :D) Vic xxx Known to all BZ-online as mrsmichaelgraham

An excellent version of Tom Baxter's classic. Beautiful singing.

By combining boyish charm with slick songwriting (much of which was co-written by the bandmates themselves), the singers found enormous success throughout the U.K., where 16 of their first 17 singles became Top Five...
