Album Review

Released a year after Florence + the Machine's debut, Between Two Lungs is basically a souped-up reissue of Lungs, pairing that album's original track list with an extra disc of live material and remixes. Most interesting is the inclusion of "You Got the Dirtee Love," a mash-up collaboration with Dizzee Rascal that nearly topped the U.K. charts in early 2010. For those looking for the bonus material only, the second disc was also released digitally under the title Lungs: The B-Sides.

Flo... I'm giving you four stars because you're amazing, the reason it's not five, its that this isn't a new album! I want to hear new stuff! Please! This is still great, it's just I've heard it before! <3

Wooo! Florenceeeee

Waited for this for weeks, it was worth it XD
Love strangeness and charm btw <3

Unique voice; released albumn though

Florence + the machine are amazing and have a lovely individual style; which us unlike some bland pop songs at the moment. Florences voice is excellent.
For me the best songs are:
Rabbit Heart- interesting lyrics but I love her voice in this and the video. Sums up her individualitly perfectly!
Drumming Song- great song, I have the chorus stuck in my head!

The only problem I have is this concept of re-releasing your albumn with a couple of new things however the songs are good on this, so people who haven't heard her before will like this. It is fairly good value on here(for the moment) as you get some videos. I can't wait till her new aulbumn which apparently has a crystal theme to it! :)

Hailing from South London, Florence Mary Leontine Welch writes songs that occupy the same confessional territory as gossip-loving, genre-bending contemporaries like Amy Winehouse, Kate Nash, Adele, and Lily Allen and the moody, classic art rock of Kate Bush, blending pop, soul, and baroque arrangements into a sound that earned the young artist considerable buzz in 2007. Managed by the Camden-based DJ duo the Queens of Noize and backed by a rotating lineup of musicians, Florence + the Machine released...
