Brilliant album well worth listening too and an investment you won't regret. I recently saw The Zombies and they included four tracks from this album in their set, I came away enthralled and have revisited their old song book, hard to believe where the years go but take it from me a wonderful album thank you Colin and Rod and all Zombies past and future, long live musci

Breathe Out, Breathe In

I remember watching the Zombies on 'Ready, Steady, Go!' in 1964 and thinking "Wow! That's a great band!" and now nearly half a century on I'm thinking the same!
Seen them 'live' twice recently and they're still a great band.

Aside from the Beatles and perhaps the Beach Boys, no mid-'60s rock group wrote melodies as gorgeous as those of the Zombies. Dominated by Colin Blunstone's breathy vocals, choral backup harmonies, and Rod Argent's shining jazz- and classical-influenced organ and piano, the band sounded utterly unique for its era. Indeed, the Zombies' material -- penned by either Argent or guitarist Chris White, with unexpected shifts from major to minor keys -- was perhaps too adventurous for the singles market....
