et this for Xmas

"Oh Creole" simply has to be on anyone's single of the year list. With this EP you have it, plus three other great tracks. The Bowiesque "High Street Heaven" with a hook that will send you crazy for days. "Born Bored" with its bouncing roller-coasting rythym will lift your mood for the day, and the soulful "Running Away" with its Orbison strains at the end, will bring a tear to your eye. This band is going places folks, so jump on board for the ride.

a good start.and no mistake! defo one to watch out for in got to love a band that has a keen eye for a proper old skool pop of those bands that i think will apeal to most age groups.that said, their not MOR.just fine old pop tunes with brass sections and mighty fine production.the kind that kevin rolland use to put out before he went a little odd.

Hey truth, yous in my face, I love that taste... Taste like freedom!!!

Oh Creole is nothing but pure music magic, loud, proud and bloody catchy! Born Bored, is nothing like the name suggests, bouncy, fun and exciting with great harmony edits. High Street Heaven is suprisingly romantic for some reason and still rock 'n' roll at the same time. Running Away may even have to be my favourite, with lyrics everyone can relate to, a bit like a Queen song and feels like a ride on your local bus, sad for a bit but then free. Or something! Generally, they are great, unique and brilliant songs you'll never hear again this year... except Alarm Clock!

While the "two guitars, bass, and drums" lineup still dominates rock & roll, British foursome the Rumble Strips take a different approach to their music with a fresh sound built around the acoustic guitar and dramatic vocal style of Charlie Waller; the soulful horn work of Henry Clark and Tom Gorbutt; and the sharp, concise drumming of Matthew Wheeler. Named for the narrow-slotted paths on the sides of highways that produce noise and vibrations when weary drivers roll over them, the Rumble Strips...
