"Some whiny little English boy singing the blues!"

Another outstanding album - his fourth solo effort - from David Ford. This is a great album from start to finish, from the opening track 'Pour A Little Poison' - his starkly honest tale of a disastrous US tour ("Tonight another dozen they'll be glad I came") - right through to 'Every Time' - a soul-searching appraisal of his failure to break the mainstream music scene ("Every time I was given a chance to stand on my own two feet, I fell").

You need this album.

Another awesome album

Awesome brilliant stuff by the best singer/songwriter around. Every Time is the album standout for me.

As the former frontman of Easyworld, a British indie rock outfit that disbanded in 2004, David Ford established a reputation as a talented singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pianist. He then parlayed those skills into a solo career, releasing the debut album I Sincerely Apologise for All the Trouble I've Caused in 2005. After gaining an audience in his native England, Ford traveled to Texas to play at the 2006 SXSW festival, where a particularly strong performance led him to a deal with Columbia...
