iTunes Review

Inspired by their 2015 Ibiza Prom night, Pete Tong and conductor Jules Buckley re-work iconic dance tracks with a 65-piece orchestra. Orchestral re-fits draw even more melodic beauty out of The Sabres of Paradise’s “Smokebelch II” and Orbital’s “Belfast”. Some things that made these songs classics can’t be bettered though and the synth motifs and bass grooves driving Inner City’s “Good Life” and Frankie Knuckles’ “Your Love” are wisely preserved while strings gently drift in to enhance the visceral impact.

Customer Reviews

Ignore idiotic reviews!!

I can’t believe the amount of people posting negative reviews.

This is an album where classic house tracks were performed live, and recorded, by a full orchestra, using acoustic and electronic instruments.

It quite clearly tells you this just from the title, let alone the added info the iTunes review underneath provides! Take it for what is is, don’t compare it to the original tracks. I personally really enjoyed it and was amazed at how many elements were recreated live.

Awesome album

Brilliant re-works of the originals. My album of the year!

Great !!!

Seen the proms on You tube and now seen live @ the MEN Arena Manchester and words cant descibe.
You got to see this live when you can as an orchestra turning out tunes like this is just amazing.
