Customer Reviews

It’s only the beginning

For the first time Marti Pellow goes solo. 3 years after the demise of Wet Wet Wet we are however presented with a scintillating solid performance that stands in place of the critics. From the opening track ‘Hard to Cry’ the listener can feel a soulful and melodic time piece open in front of them. What is impressive in this work is the mixture of both up beat and resting numbers. Stand out tracks from the album include the top ten single ‘Close to You’ and ‘New York Vibe’. This is a truly worthwhile purchase and one which shall stay in print for years to come, especially for the Wet Wet Wet fan of the past or present.
