The Most Beautiful Music To Go With The Most Beautiful Film

If you loved the film I'm sure you noticed how the music played such an important role. If you loved the film the music is the great way to relive the film when you don’t have time to sit down and watch it as every song corresponds to a classic moment in the film. The soundtrack incorporates all the main songs that you will recognise from the film including "You Will Be My Ain True Love" the song that represents the love between Ada and Inman, its the most touching song and will melt any ice heart! Each song appears to represent an emotion so with the whole album there is a song for every occasion. If you like gospel style music the tracks by the ‘Sacred Harp Singers’ are ones to download, they are songs that touch the soul and relax the mind. A great buy I’m sure everyone can find songs they love!

Beautiful soundtrack to a beautiful film

When I watched this film for the first time I was devastated by it. The beauty and the sadness of it just haunted me for ages, and a large part of that was down the the music. Notably the instrumentals by Gabriel Yared were so beautiful that every time I listen to them I can clearly see scenes from the film replaying in my head. They provoke such an emotional response in me. The vocals of Alison Krauss are another wonder, her haunting 'The Scarlet Tide' which plays as the credits go up, when taken in context could be the saddest thing I have ever heard. Amusingly I did not hear this when I first watched the film, I was crying to hysterically by the time it ended.

I'm not usually the type for this sort of music, but i absolutely loved the movie, it's one of my favourites and the music really does make it that bit better. I love tim erikson and jack white's voice the most. I recommend!
