great return!!!!

Well, i have to say, this is alot better than the first! and I loved the first. If there is one album you buy this week, then this is it! You will NOT be disapointed!

Great follow up!

I really thought the first album would be hard to surpase, but on first impressions A Curious Thing appears to be even better. The first two songs in particular Don't Tell Me That its Over and Spark show that Amy MacDonald is maturing into an accomplished singer songwriter.

Not only will this album be a huge success but expect to see Amy in a town near you. On your Ipod she sounds great but live she is amazing.

Can't recommend it enough!

Whilst there is no doubting her raw talent as a singer, songwriter I feel this follow up album will not be as widely received as her first.

There is slight change in direction no doubt due to Paul Weller's influence which detracts from her original fresh approach. This album will gain a new fan base but will loose some of her original fans.

I for one will be interested how this album translates to the 'stage'.
