Good song ruined by editing

I first heard this track when it's video was released on the net and at first i didn't think too much of it. I will say though that this track is a definate grower, and after a few more listens i began to love it. It's a unique mixture of gothic dub and trance which has a familiar sound due to the cut up female vocals, generic bass thuds and classic synths. Now for someone who said they 'love' this song you might be wondering why i only gave it three stars, well the editing of the song on the album and single is awful - if you watch the video you'll know what i mean. Someone has chosen to reduce the song by a full minute and ten seconds speeding up all the musical changes bar the intro so most sections sound as if they are cut and shunted together. On top of this they remove the emotional lead in to the last verse which was a beautiful moment on the video and they chose to ditch the instrumental end which rounded off the song nicely. All in all a great track completely undermined by whoever edited it, i strongly recommend watching the video for this song and compare it to this version yourself i'd be suprised if anybody enjoys this as much.
